'I want to shut him up' - Daniel Dubois names two man hit list for 2025
IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois is eager to face two particular names at some point in 2025.
Dubois returns to the ring on February 22 live on DAZN PPV when he defends his title against Joseph Parker on the stacked The Last Crescendo fight card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
While 'Dynamite' insists that he will not be looking past Parker, he has his sights set on some marquee bouts in the near future if victorious against the New Zealander.
One of those is a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, this time for the undisputed heavyweight title, after the Ukrainian stopped Dubois in 2023 following a controversial low blow call.
Meanwhile the second name on Dubois' hit list is one of the division's most avoided and feared operators who is not afraid to speak their mind.
"Usyk. Martin Bakolie. I want to shut him up, him and Nelson," Dubois told DAZN when asked about his dream fights for 2025.
Bakolie claimed earlier this year that a fight had been signed for him to face Anthony Joshua in Africa, however, this deal has been denied by Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn who has said there have been no talks between the two camps.
