Joseph Parker relishing 'toughest' fight with looming test against Daniel Dubois
Joseph Parker is ready for his "toughest fight" yet as he faces Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight world championship, but hopes experience can help on February 22.
The New Zealander faces the Briton in his bid to become a two-time division king this Saturday at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
Parker, who reigned between 2016 and 2018 as WBO champion, has rebuilt his reputation since a loss to Joe Joyce with key wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.
Now however, he faces what he pins as the hardest bout of his career so far, but believes his change in mindset and mentality over the years can help him succeed.
"You know when you've done everything there is and you can't do anymore to prepare?" he told DAZN. "This is the biggest fight in my career.
"Mentally, I'm ready to go on there, leave it all out there and the result will take care of itself. It's the opportunity to fight for the championship of the world again.
"Because of the opponent that I have and the way that he's performed, that's why I say this is the toughest fight. Daniel Dubois has got this sense of unstoppableness.
"The fights he has put on, the performances, the results, I have been surprised. I didn't pick him to win those last three fights
"But he proved me and everybody else wrong. That's why he's got this confidence and belief. He backs himself because of these performances.

"The Joseph Parker of 2016 winning the championship of the world [had] no more goals of fighting for more belts or being undisputed.
"My goal in life back then was to become champion of the world and that was it. I wasn't thinking about other belts or being undisputed.
"The fighter I am now, or the person or father or husband or whatever respects the position I'm in way more. I actually love what I do every day now.
"[There has been] a lot of ups, a lot of downs, a lot of questions, and all of that has led to this point."
