Former world heavyweight champion Charles Martin fancies his chances against dangerous British heavyweight Moses Itauma.
Itauma has fast become a must-watch talent inside the boxing ring, and his first round demolition of Demsey McKean in December was a prime example.
However, with Itauma dispatching his opponents with ease in his 11 fights as a professional, it would be no surprise if potential foes decide to actively avoid such a heavy hitter.
But Martin, who enjoyed a four-month reign as IBF heavyweight title holder in 2016, is one man who believes he could take the rising star on.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the 38-year-old claimed that he has the ability to trouble a man close to half his age with his own punching power.
"I will do anything to get another title shot. I fought Jared Anderson on one week's notice and had him hurt multiple times," Martin said.
"I would have knocked Jared out with a real training camp, and I will knock Moses out with a proper camp.
"Right now, he has been stopping everyone quick, but it is real different when another puncher is coming back at you. Let's see if he can take it as good as he gives it."
Martin won the vacant IBF world heavyweight title in January 2016 when he beat Vyacheslav Glazkov with a third round stoppage.
Unfortunately for Martin, this reign only lasted less than half-a-year when he was on the wrong end of a second round knockout from Anthony Joshua.
