Terence Crawford meets Kell Brook on Saturday, Nov. 14 in Las Vegas, as Crawford puts his WBO welterweight title on the line.
Brook (39-2, 27 KOs), who has been working with new trainer Carlos Formento, claimed he poses a danger for the champion and should not be underestimated.
“I’ve got to applaud Terence Crawford for taking this fight, because he is in there with a monster with self-belief,” he said last month.
“He is one hell of a fighter but a smaller man naturally to me. I’m a dangerous man, a big welterweight and a force to be reckoned with.
“Everybody has been writing me off. I’m going against everyone. This fight is for me. Nobody else bar me.”
Crawford (36-0, 27 KOs), regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in action today, is taking nothing for granted against his British opponent.
“He has everything to gain and nothing to really lose,” Crawford said on Instagram.
“In those types of moments, it wakes up a different animal and beast in a person. I’m preparing for the best Kell Brook we could possibly prepare for.”
