Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn had the fight world drawn to their upcoming clash last week following a volatile press conference, and now Tyson Fury has weighed in too.
The bitter rivals will collide on April 26 at The Ring's Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, live on DAZN, almost three years after they should have.
Questions over whether they can be kept apart before then remain after Eubank Jr turned things nasty when he hit Benn with an egg at last week's media conference.
The incident sparlked chaotic scenes in Manchester and stemmed from Benn's 2022 adverse drug finding which was later suggested to have come from contaminated eggs.
That forced the pair to postpone their original bout, but the rivalry has only intensified in the years since and the matter will hopefully be settled in just under two months.
Benn, who will be jumping to middleweight for the contest, begins the fight as a slight underdog with Eubank Jr possessing advantages in both size and experience.
A former world title challenger, the latter has fallen short seeking boxing’s biggest prizes, but a win over Benn could open the door for a future shot at a major crown.
With all the big names in boxing displaying an intertest in the outcome of this fight, it is no surprise to see one of the sport’s most popular figures sharing his opinion.
Fury retired from boxing earlier this year following a second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, but his absence has not prevented him from sharing his take on who wins
"It’s a weight category thing," said Fury when speaking to TNT Sports . "If it’s 10.5 stone it’s going to be Conor Benn. If it’s at middleweight then probably Chris Eubank Jr."
