Derek Chisora's prospective 50th - and possibly final - professional bout is targeting a summer date, but promoter Frank Warren cautions the star must beat Otto Wallin first.

The veteran heavyweight will fight for the last time on British soil when he takes on the Swede atop The Last Dance at Manchester's Co-op Live this Saturday, live on DAZN.

Chisora, one of the division's most popular domestic fighters over the past decade, is reportedly looking to sign off on his career by reaching the half-century milestone.

With his clash against Wallin set to be his 49th bout, Warren has revealed that his last date is looking at a midsummer slot, but warned they cannot get ahead of themselves.

"He's got to get through this fight first," he told DAZN's The Ariel x Ade Show. It's a tough fight for him. If he gets through it, I think during the summer [will be] his 50th fight.

"Maybe June, that's what we're looking at. But I'll be honest, he's got his hands full. Otto Wallin, on his day, can give Derek a lot of problems. He can be an awkward customer.

"It's done extremely well and we've had a good turnout for it. For Derek, this is his last fight in the UK. We called it The Last Dance and it certainly will be for the British public."

Chisora, a two-time world heavyweight challenger, has engaged in some famous bouts over the years, including a trilogy of dust-ups with Tyson Fury.

At 41, he is one of the oldest active fighters in the division, and will hope he can improve upon a 35-13 professional record before he hangs up his gloves for good.
