Fabio Wardley believes Queensberry Promotions' arrival at DAZN "increases the rivalry" between Frank Warren and Matchroom's Eddie Hearn, but is "only good news" for boxers.
The two promotions are set to find an exclusive home with the streaming giant from April onwards, heralding a new era for boxing broadcasting around the globe.
Warren and Hearn, long-term foes who have grown to become partners with Riyadh Season and reported "frenemies" since, will both be bringing blockbuster cards to fans.
For Wardley, the heavyweight sees the deal as a win-win situation, for both boxers and their supporters, as it helps to grease the wheels towards more mega-fights down the line.
"It increases their rivalry, but also further increases the likelihood of them putting their fighters on against each other," he told The Stomping Ground.
"The broadcaster is no longer a question. There's not going to be any argument. For fans and fighters, it's only good news. It just means we're getting great fights.
"For boxers, we're getting great opportunities. It's good that boxing [will be] in one place, that you won't have to pay for this subscription or that subscription.
It's all falling under one banner, one roof. It just means that no matter what, the fanbase isn't fractured or split. We're getting eyes on us, no matter what."
Queensberry kick off their new era on April 5 with a blockbuster heavyweight contest between Dillian Whyte and Joe Joyce, with more to come throughout 2025.
