Daniel Dubois has a series of lucrative options for his next world title defence, but his promoter is all in on one contest.

Frank Warren has overseen a major transformation for Dubois who appeared to be in no man’s land following a crushing loss to Oleksandr Usyk in 2023

Rebuilt expertly on numerous big shows with a series of solid wins, Dubois completed his rehabilitation last September with a stunning knockout over Anthony Joshua at a congested Wembley Stadium

Dubois was dominant from the opening bell against Joshua, and he proved his superiority on the night by dropping his countryman four times as he retained his IBF title.

In February, Dubois was set to make another defence of his title but his eagerly anticipated showdown with Joseph Parker was pulled at the last minute after it was announced that Dubois was unwell

Parker would instead stop Martin Bakole before turning his attention back to his feud with Dubois

With Parker, Joshua, and Usyk all vying for a showdown with Dubois, who does his longtime promoter want to see him face next?

“Usyk. Usyk is the natural rematch,” said Warren during an exclusive sit-down with DAZN News

“It was very controversial the first one and Daniel is in a different place now. It’ll be a unification for all four belts, and it would sell out anywhere.

“It would sell out Wembley. It’s a great fight and that’s my preferred option. The first Usyk fight was the making of him. He grew up after that fight and he had to grow up. He’s done brilliantly since.”
