Arnold Barboza Jr is adamant he is the best fighter at 140lbs ahead of his fight with Jack Catterall.
The pair will go head-to-head this Saturday, live on DAZN at the Co-op Live arena where a world title shot is at stake.
With Barboza and Catterall seen as the top two fighters at super lightweight who do not hold a world title, it should produce an intriguing contest in the North West of England.
For Barboza, the odds are slowly stacked against him with the American travelling to Catterall's home city making the Co-op Live a bearpit come the opening bell.
However, Barboza was calm at Thursday's press conference and quick to label himself as a premier talent in a division full of talented fighters.
"I just believe I am the best in the division, I don’t think anyone can f—k with me in this division," Barboza said.
"I’m just confident in myself. At the end of the day, we can do all the trash talking, I know he’s not a trash talker, I’m not a trash talker.
"Saturday’s going to determine everything, at the end of the day it’s a ring and that’s all that matters."
Whoever comes out on top between Catterall and Barboza Jr will be the WBO's interim super lightweight champion, and therefore a mandatory challenger to the full title held by Teofimo Lopez.
