Daniel Dubois can be made to "look for a way out" in his bout with Joseph Parker, with the New Zealander determined to ensure he is not overlooked as a serious challenger.
The Briton will put his IBF heavyweight title on the line against the former WBO world champion as part of Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
Dubois is riding high after a career-best 2024, which saw him stop Anthony Joshua in the fifth round at Wembley Stadium last September, but the star is still building his reputation.
That has been hit by questions over his resilience in the past following defeats to Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk, and now Parker thinks he can possibly make him quit in the ring.
"It depends. If it gets too hard, he will look for a way out," he told Sky Sports News. "But if it's going his way, he'll keep going.
"It's my job to go out there and offset what he's going to bring and follow my game plan. Even if times get hard I've always had self-belief.
"It's because of the hard work that I've done and the standards my parents instilled in me at a young age.

"I've always believed that no matter what, no matter what anyone says, no matter what anyone does, I believe wholeheartedly that I back myself and believe in myself always."
Dubois raised eyebrows when he challenged Usyk to a rematch immediately in the ring after the unified champion's rematch victory over Tyson Fury in December.
Many pundits suggested the move was disrespectful to Parker, but the star insists he will face no such distractions, adding: "Listen, it can be a mistake.
"In boxing they always try and set up big fights in the future. If he is trying to set that up, he has to get past me first. For now I just want to focus on Daniel Dubois.
"I don't want to look too far ahead. I want to prepare for him and take him seriously. Once that fight's done and I win, I can look at other fights."
