Tim Bradley believes Gervonta Davis’ career at the top level could be over.
The former world champion, one of the most entertaining fighters of his era, has settled comfortably into his role as an analyst on boxing and he does not hold back on his opinions.
The latest fight figure of his wrath is Davis, and it is still not confirmed what is the next move for the Baltimore man.
Davis paused during the fight to tackle an issue with his eyes and that caused outrage when the referee allowed it rather than issuing a count.
Since the fight, it has been widely speculated that Davis and Roach would meet again this summer, but that contest has still not been finalised.
Despite all the rumours on what Davis’ next move could be, Bradley is not convinced we will see Davis at his best ever again and he has even stated that pound-for-pound superstar could be ‘done.’
“I know ya’ll Tank fans are gonna come at me, ‘oh, you don’t know.’ I’m telling you. And if he gets in that ring and he ain’t all the way focused, bro, he’s gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao, by Manny Pacquiao,” said Bradley when speaking to Fight Hub TV .
“If they’re gonna do it he’s gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao if he ain’t all the way focused in the ring, seriously. That’s my take on Tank, man. I think he’s done. It’s the issues outside of the ring. It’s the fact that he wants to change.”
