Usyk vs Dubois 2 - Major rival of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury has say on undisputed clash

DAZN
Watch Usyk vs Dubois exclusively on DAZN - July 19

Daniel Dubois will get the opportunity to claim revenge over Oleksandr Usyk when they clash at Wembley Stadium on July 19 , live on DAZN

Two years ago, Dubois travelled to Poland hoping to defeat Usyk, but his heavyweight title dreams that existed then were dashed as he was dropped twice before being stopped by the brilliant Ukrainian

The fight was marred by controversy when Usyk hit the floor from a Dunois shot, but the referee called it a low blow and Usyk was allowed to recover despite protests from those part of Dubois’ team.

Since that loss, Dubois has responded brilliantly, and he has used that setback as a motivation to push on and finally become world champion.

Dubois has stopped Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua on his journey becoming IBF champion and now he goes into the Usyk rematch hoping to become undisputed ruler.

Dillian Whyte, who has fallen short against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, will be a keen observer when the bell sounds, and he has given his verdict on what could take place.

“I think it’s a very good fight because obviously they met before, you just have to see what Dubois turns up and what Usyk turns up,” said Whyte when speaking to IFLTV

“Usyk is very consistent, Dubois has been consistent lately, but he’s had some inconsistency in his career as well.

“Obviously the two that stick out is against Usyk and Joe Joyce. But Usyk, there are fights where he’s been hurt and wobbled and stuff but he’s such a consistent professional, but Dubois has got power, and he’s got confidence and right now he’s flying high at the minute so it’s hard to pick a winner right now.”
