Tim Bradley has urged Eddie Hearn to be cautious when considering matching Jaron Ennis with Teofimo Lopez.

In recent weeks, speculation has linked Lopez to a jump to welterweight where he will face Ennis for the Philadelphia man’s unified titles

Earlier this month, Lopez reminded people of his dominance at 140lbs as he dominated Arnold Barboza Jr at the huge Times Square event that also featured Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia

Lopez has long spoke about moving to welterweight and he has previous form for calling out big names there after once being eager to test himself against Terence Crawford.

Now, it appears that Lopez could be finally moving to 147lbs with August mentioned as a possible date for a potential showdown with Ennis.

Both fighters are entering the contest in impressive form, but with Ennis being the bigger man, many within the sport believe that Lopez has it all to do.

Bradley, a former world champion who once defeated Manny Pacquiao, is a big admirer of Lopez, and he thinks the talented New Yorker is a serious threat to Ennis.

“The two most athletic fighters in the game. Damn, if they was to go head-to-head. Yeah, Boots got all the attributes, the height, the long arms. But you know who’s got the timing? That’s Teofimo Lopez,” said Bradley when speaking on his own YouTube channel

“Who was the last athletic guy that Boots fought? Karen? Don’t think that Boots gonna be able to outpunch him. Go back and watch the Claggett fight, Teofimo got lungs too. He threw almost 1000 punches in that fight.

“Boots, all those lapses you be having, you ain’t gonna be able to have them with Teofimo Lopez. That dude is on his game. When his mind’s right, it’s hard to beat that dude. Explosive, smart, high IQ as well as you do.

“I’m letting you know, Eddie Hearn if you’re listening, if you don’t want your guy to get beat, stay away from Teofimo Lopez.”
