Unified super middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has made sure to have the last word in his rivalry with Jake Paul.
It was announced on Friday that Alvarez had signed a major four-fight deal with His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and Riyadh Season, with two bouts scheduled in 2025 and 2026.
Before this agreement was struck, there was serious momentum gathering behind a clash between Alvarez and Paul, a divisive figure in the sport of boxing.
However, this contest has fallen by the wayside as a result of the Riyadh Season deal and Paul has since given his side of the story in a post on X, claiming contracts had been signed between the two parties.
There was no surprise that Alvarez responded to Paul's call out with a video posted by The Ring Magazine, and it's safe to say that the Mexican did not hold back.
"Hey guys, don't pay attention to anything [from] this f—g Youtuber," Alvarez said.
"I just fight real fighters... no f—g around with Canelo! Come on - Let's go!"
While no opponents have been confirmed for Alvarez's fight with Riyadh Season, it's expected that he will face pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford in September with Las Vegas being a likely venue.
