George Kambosos continues to be linked to huge fights against the sport’s biggest names, but he was not impressed with one of his potential rival’s most recent showings.

Kambosos is back in action on March 22, live on DAZN, when he headlines a big show in Australia against Daud Yordan

Eubank Jr v Benn

If successful, Kambosos will be hoping the fight can be a platform to land even bigger fights moving forward against some of the nest boxers around his weight class.

After already sharing the ring with high quality operators like Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, and Vasiliy Lomachenko, Kambosos is well-equipped to take on huge names, but one fighter who disappointed him in his last fight was Gervonta Davis.

The Baltimore man was held to a draw against the unfancied Lamont Roach, but a controversial moment prevented the result from being even worse.

Davis took a knee in round nine, but instead of being counted, he was allowed to head to his corner and have an issue with his eye addressed.

This error from the referee had a major impact on the scorecards as a 10-8 round to Roach would have ensured he was the winner.

Kambosos, who has long monitored fighters he may one day come up against, has blasted Davis for his performance and does not believe he could be successful against other leading names.

“We saw how he looked on the weekend,” said Kambosos when speaking to The Ring

"What if that was Lopez in there, or Haney in there twice, or Lomachenko in there? You reckon he’d win any of those fights? Probably not."
