Big rival of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury says Derek Chisora is bottom of the list
Dillian Whyte has shared a lengthy rivalry with Derek Chisora and despite respecting his great foe, he does not believe he can compete with Daniel Dubois .
Whyte defeated Chisora on points in one of the best ever all-British heavyweight clashes in 2016 in a fight that split the opinion of boxing fans.
Two years later, they collided again, and the judges would not be required as Whyte extended his lead in the series with an 11th round knockout.
Although Chisora may have lost twice to Whyte, he now finds himself in a more prosperous position than the former world title challengers following a recent run of solid form.
Chisora has scored impressive wins over Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin in the last 12 months and those successess now have him sitting at the top of the IBF rankings.
Such a position can help him secure a showdown with Dubois, the IBF champion, but Whyte does not believe that fight will end well for Chisora.
“Dubois will kill Derek. He might actually die. Seriously. There are bigger and better fights for Dubois to take right now,” said Whyte when discussing the heavyweight landscape with Seconds Out.
“It’s just business. Derek Chisora is at the bottom of that list. There are bigger and better guys at the top of the list.”
