The unbeaten star continues to win new admirers with his relentless style, and it is likely that he could feature in more big fights later this year.
Here, DAZN News takes a look at what could be in the plans of Ball as he aims to maintain his dominance at featherweight.

The biggest fight Nick Ball can land is a showdown with Naoya Inoue and what a showdown it would be if the Japanese star jumps to featherweight.
After dominating numerous weight classes on his way to the top of the pound-for-pound list, Inoue looks set to move to 126lbs and Ball could be his biggest test.
With both fighters eager to attack and often on the front foot, this brutal gel of styles could deliver one of the fights of the year.
Ball and Ray Ford delivered a mini-classic when they met last summer when Ball was adjudged to have been the better man and taken the verdict.
Since that fight, Ball has pushed on and made successful defences of his world title while Ford has jumped to super-featherweight.
The quality of their first meeting means demand could be high for a sequel, but that would depend on Ford’s desire to return to featherweight.
The next defence of Nick Ball’s world title could be a decision made for him if the WBA decide to force him into a mandatory defence.
That would come against Argentina’s Mirco Cuello, and the unbeaten star is fast building himself an impressive reputation.
15-0 with 12 early finishes, Cuello is gaining momentum with American exposure, and he would relish the opportunity to face Ball.

If Nick Ball wants to show himself off to an American audience then defeating Stephen Fulton could be one way to go about it.
The Philadelphia man has rebounded well since losing to Naoya Inoue in 2023 and he now holds the WBC title at Ball’s weight
A unification match between the pair could go a long way in telling fight fans who is the world’s best featherweight.
Linked to a showdown with Nick Ball last year, Jazza Dickens was seen as an ideal opponent as the bout would do big business in Liverpool.
That fight did not materialise for either fighter as Ball made a successful defence against Ronny Rios.
Dickens has instead pushed on and registered a big win over Zelfa Barrett at 130lbs, but a move back down for a world title clash could give Liverpool a classic meeting.
