The former UFC welterweight title challenger will target another emphatic result against "The Dentist" Stewart.

With anticipation mounting, DAZN News analyzes each fighter's keys to victory, breaking down their tactics along the way.

Darren Till’s keys to victory

Cut the ring

Darren Till’s win over Anthony Taylor in his MF & DAZN: X Series debut in January shows that the former UFC welterweight title challenger moves methodically around the ring, cutting it effectively enough to drop his opponent three times.

Against, Darren Stewart, Till should look to do the same as cutting the ring in half will minimize Stewart’s movement and will also allow Till to unload the punches that could get his hand raised.

Keep a disciplined guard

Till showed a decent guard boxing against Taylor earlier this year but also abandoned it at times, lowering it too much.

He cannot afford to find himself in these lapses as all it would take is one punch from “The Dentist” Stewart to alter the complexion of the fight, or win it altogether.

After unleashing his offense, Till has to get back to a disciplined, tight guard.

Crank the uppercut

Till had success with his uppercut against Taylor and it is one the punches he should look to deliver to Stewart as well — especially if the former UFC star is able to cut the ring effectively.

Darren Stewart’s keys to victory

Pressure Till

Forward progress and high volume punching from Darren Stewart could work wonders toward throwing Darren Till off his game.

That makes Stewart pressuring Till around the ring a major key as it will force the former UFC title challenger to reset every time Stewart is successful.

Make deposits to the body

Taylor showed that Till’s body is there for the hitting but did not do it nearly enough.

Stewart would be wise to make deposits to Till’s body with the jab as the shot would back Till up and could soften him up for more damage.

Make Till feel power early

Fighting Till in January, Anthony Taylor did not stand his ground.

The outcome of that was Till walking Taylor down and pinpointing landings for any punch he wanted to throw.

It is imperative for Stewart to stand his ground, refusing to budge off the front foot.

Making Till feel his power early could be Stewart’s best bet toward that … and for pulling out the upset.
