'I walked the Furys out of boxing' - Darren Till continues war of words with Tommy Fury

Watch Till vs Stewart live tonight on DAZN

UFC and Misfits star Darren Till has claimed that he has ended any chances of Tommy Fury becoming a boxing star.

Till is preparing to headline tonight's main event at Misfits X Series 21 against Darren Stewart which will be broadcast live on DAZN

Regardless of who Till fights, Fury's name will continue to follow him after the pair were set to meet at the start of the year. However, the fight was called after Fury pulled out with no reason given.

Anthony Taylor stepped in to face Till instead and the 'Gorilla' produced a sixth round knockout which sent a statement to the rest of Misfits.

While Till continues to make a name for himself in Misfits, Fury appears to be looking to resurrect his professional boxing career and last Friday beat Kenan Hanjalic by unanimous decision in Budapest.

Speaking to The Stomping Ground ahead of his clash with Stewart, Till claimed that he has done the boxing world a favour by phasing the Fury family out of boxing.

"It doesn’t bother me," Till said when asked about Fury.

"I walked the Fury’s out of boxing, everyone should be thanking me first because they terrorised everyone in boxing for years. John’s been a nuisance for years, no one has been able to stop him, and little old Darren comes along and stops him in one press conference.

"He never pulled out over the kick, so we’ll never know what his real reasons are because apparently, I was speaking to betting companies.

"Tommy’s doing interviews saying I blew my chance, but I’m the one fighting on Misfits main event that you were meant to be fighting on, now you’re fighting in Hungary on an unknown event."
