Darren Till insists he is "coming for violence" despite the "respect" between Darren Stewart and himself ahead of their clash at MF & DAZN: X Series 21.

The two headline a rearranged fight card this Friday, live on DAZN, with the former stepping up to headline status after KSI was forced to withdraw in March.

MMA star Till, who was originally due to face Tommy Fury in January dispatched Anthony Taylor at Manchester's Co-op Live with a sixth-round TKO stoppage.

Now, ahead of his second professional boxing bout, the Liverpudlian star insists that a mutual appreciation for his opponent won't hinder him inside the ring.

"There's a lot of respect between me and Darren," he said at Wednesday's press conference. "We've fought on two shows together. Darren's a good lad.

"He's a solid competitor. I know he can fight, I know he's got a big pair of bollocks on him. I haven't really got a lot to say. I'm coming Friday.

"I think a lot of people get confused between respect and disrespect. I think a lot of people expect me to go mad [since the Tommy fight] but that's not the case.

"You've all known me for years now. I am one of the best strikers in the world and I'm coming for violence on Friday as always. It's going to be a hell of a show."

Stewart too promised to deliver, pushing back against the chaos of a typically boisterous Misfits media event and vowing to hold up his end of the bargain.

"I know he's going to bring it," he added. "I'm going to bring it. This is the place to show it and I'm thankful to be on. I'm here to entertain, and that's what I do."
