This week in boxing - Eubank Jr vs Benn rivalry intensifies, a Belfast cracker and Matchroom's Canada debut

The curtain may have come down on the greatest fight card of all time, but the world of boxing does not stop. 

This week sees the live action continue on DAZN, along with the kick off to a huge British showdown later this year. 

DAZN News looks ahead to some of the highlights in boxing this week. 

Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn kick off build-up to grudge fight

The build-up for the eagerly awaited showdown between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn gets underway on Tuesday with the launch press conference. 

Three years on from when they were first set to meet, Eubank Jr and Benn will settle their differences on April 26 in front of what will no doubt be a sell-out crowd at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 

The two have not been afraid to trade barbs, whether it be on social media or in person, so this press conference is one not to be missed and it can be seen live on DAZN from 6pm GMT / 1pm ET. 

Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan to meet in Belfast bear pit

Big time boxing returns to Belfast with Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan's welterweight contest headlining a Matchroom Boxing event at the SSE Arena. 

After months of simmering tensions, the two will meet in a huge Irish showdown which promises nothing but fireworks. 

With an electric atmosphere set to grip the SSE Arena, not only will personal pride be at stake for Crocker and Donovan, there is also a shot at the IBF welterweight title on the line which is currently held by Philadelphia's Jaron 'Boots' Ennis. 

This unmissable night of action will be broadcast live on DAZN and proceedings get underway at 7pm GMT / 2pm ET. 

Matchroom Boxing arrives in Canada

Matchroom Boxing continues to break new ground on Friday night, the promotion stages its first show in Canada. 

Taking place in Gatineau, Quebec, Eduardo 'Rocky' Hernandez will face Rene Tellez Giron in an all-Mexican super featherweight clash. 

Fight fans will able to see every second of this fight and the rest of the card from 8pm ET / 1am GMT (Saturday) live on DAZN. 

Can Gervonta Davis score another trademark knockout against Lamont Roach?

Gervonta Davis, one of boxing's must-see fighters, is back in action this Saturday on Prime PPV. 

He will be defending his WBA lightweight title against Lamont Roach at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with Davis claiming that at the end of this year, he will retire from boxing. 

What makes Davis such a big household name is his knockout power and it has been on show over recent years with his last four wins coming within the scheduled distance.  

More often than not, these knockout finishes go viral and fight fans will be hoping for another explosive finish from 'Tank' this weekend.
