Rolly Romero is set to have his hands full on May 2 when he steps into the ring with Ryan Garcia, but that has not prevented him from having his say on other potential fights.
Set for combat on a huge bill that will take place in New York’s Times Square , Garcia vs Romero is part of something much bigger that features several big names.
On the same event, Devin Haney will hope to pave his way for a rematch with Garcia when he takes on former unified world champion, Jose Ramirez.

Elsewhere, Teofimo Lopez will also be in action, and he faces a stern test when he goes up against the excellent Arnold Barboza.
Romero will be hoping to cause a significant upset against Garcia and a win could open the door for him to land big fights moving forward in 2025, perhaps even against Haney.
Canelo must first come through the challenge of William Scull in May , the day after the Times Square show. If he is successful then it appears to be Crawford, maybe in September.
The outspoken Romero is never afraid to provide his verdict and Canelo vs Crawford is the latest fight to undergo his scrutiny.
“He [Crawford] got hit a lot [against Israil Madrimov]. Could you imagine if Canelo hit him with any of those shots with all the extra weight that Canelo has. You can’t even compare,” said Romero when speaking to FightHype.
“Do you remember the last time a 154-pounder moved up to try and fight Canelo? You’re going to tell me that Jermell [Charlo] is smaller than Crawford? I would not make that fight. You’re telling me that Crawford will be able to take the s--- off what Floyd did against Canelo?
“It’s a completely different fight. You can’t even compare. That’s a 147-pounder fighting a 168-pounder. That’s 21 lbs. Let’s go 154-pounder. That’s still 14 pounds. Bud wants money. He has to cash out.”
