Dave Allen breathed life into his career this weekend when he destroyed Johnny Fisher in five rounds to erase the controversy from their first meeting in December.

Allen looked impressive and he now has the opportunity to push on with his career and pursue bigger fights.

Here, DAZN News looks at what could be next for the Doncaster man.

Johnny Fisher 3

Could the rivalry have even more fights attached to it?

The series is now tied one apiece and with this being boxing, Fisher will believe he can improve next time around and put it right.

The pair know each other well and they have delivered two quality fights, so could we see an overall winner to complete the trilogy?

Moses Itauma

Allen has already ruined the hopes of one British heavyweight prospect, but could he do it to another?

Moses Itauma appears to be a champion in waiting, but could Allen be an obstacle on his journey to the top?

The Frank Warren-promoted star is expected to be a major player in the division and a bout against the popular Allen could enhance his profile.

Derek Chisora

Derek Chisora’s farewell from boxing is expected to take place this summer, but who will be in the opposite corner?

Chisora has proved himself to be world class at various stages of his career, but with his career winding down, a domestic bout could be more suitable.

Allen fits that description and with both fighters' fan favourites, a good turnout would be guaranteed.

David Adeleye

A British title shot could be the reward for Allen’s recent impressive form.

David Adeleye is the current holder, but he first has to contend with a rematch against Jamie TKV.

If Adeleye can retain his title, then Allen will be a worthy opponent for his second defence.

Dillian Whyte

Allen has already scored revenge over one former opponent, could he do it to another?

Dillian Whyte defeated Allen in 2016 on his way to world title shot, but today’s version of Whyte appears to have slowed considerably.

Both fighters are well known in Britain and a showdown between them could do decent business at the box office.
