Tommy Fury has warned Kenan Hanjalic he is ready to unleash more than 18 months of frustration on the Bosnian when they meet on Friday, live on DAZN.
Fury, 26, has spoken of his respect for Hanjalic in what will be his first fight since defeating KSI in October 2023, following hand surgery.
But the Manchester-born fighter has told his rival that he has more than enough in his armoury to seal another victory and take his career to 11 straight wins.
“I think he's good,” Fury said of Hanjalic in an exclusive interview with DAZN News.
“At the end of the day he's a good Eastern European fighter.
“He'll come and be strong, but at the end of the day the skill, movement and speed I've got is more than enough.
“If I can do half of what I've been doing in the gym on fight night then I think he will be in for a shock.”
Fury said he was prepared to stay patient against Hanjalic and would have no qualms about the fight going the distance given his activity since October 2023.
“You can never rush in there thinking 'I'm going to knock him out in the first round, I want to get him out of there',” explained Fury.
“You can't ever think like that. You go in there, you box, and things open.
“It's like in sparring, I've been sparring 10 and 12 rounds with fresh guys in every single time.

“And if I box how I know I can box – and use all the tricks and tools that I've got – openings will present themselves.
“I've no worries about that. I've just got go in there and do what I do.
“Slip and slide, nice shots, hard shots, and openings will come. And then I'll just take them.
“I just want to get into the ring and settle into the fight to be honest.
“I'm in no rush. If I could get a few rounds it would be good because I've been out of the ring for so long.
“It's kind of nice being under the lights as long as I can.
“But obviously, if I see the openings, then it could be the first 10 seconds and I'm going to take it. It just depends what happens.”
