When William Zepeda and Tevin Farmer were first billed together in Riyadh last year, few seemed to give the former IBF super featherweight champion a chance.
A loss to Raymond Muratalla the prior July had checked the latter's stride, and there were questions over whether he was still a legitimate challenger at the top end.
Instead, fighting for the WBC interim crown, Farmer pushed the unbeaten Zepeda all the way, with a fourth-round knockdown sending shocks through the crowd.
