Shakur Stevenson faces an intriguing foe in his WBC lightweight defence tonight against Josh Padley at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
The American has now seen two potential foes dashed in his latest battle to retain his world title, having lost out on facing William Zepeda due to a hand injury for the latter.
That opened the door to Floyd Schofield, but the latter withdrew earlier this week due to illness, opening the door for Briton Padley to face the biggest fight of his career.
Taken with just three days to go, the odds will be stacked against the latter at the Kingdom Arena, but he will hope to seize the sudden opportunity for all it is worth here.
